Our Story

You can't download a sanctuary.

That is the wound. This is the surgery.

I have spent 30 years watching artists get robbed in broad daylight. The show goes on. The platform wins. The label wins. The algorithm wins. The human who made the thing goes home empty. Not once. Every time. That's not a broken system — it's a working one, just not for the people making the work.

85% of all creative revenue flows to middlemen — the label, the agency, the platform, the algorithm. The artist gets paid once, if at all, and then watches everything they made earn money for everyone except them. Forever. WYRD wasn't built to protest that. It was built to make it unnecessary.

Where This Actually Started

Long before it had a name.

Before the AI, before the token, before any of this had a name — Jürgen and Aubrey built something together. Brothers since they were twelve years old, the two of them opened a place called Resonance Café — a real room, for real creative people, to actually make things together.

It didn't have a smart contract. It didn't need one. It was just two friends trying to build a space where artists could work without asking anyone's permission. That room is the real seed of everything that came after. When it came time to build WYRD, Jürgen didn't have to imagine what a creative sanctuary should feel like — he'd already built one, with the person he trusts most.

How This Actually Works

We monetize efficiency. Not creators.

Here's what "7 times the industry average" actually means. Take a song that earns $10,000 over its lifetime — streams, licensing, everything. Same song, two systems.

The Industry Standard
$1,400
goes to the artist who made it

The other $8,600 splits between the label, the distributor, and the platform. On the same $10,000.

WYRD
$7,000
goes straight to the artist

Same $10,000. Same song. The only thing that changed is who the system was built to pay.

Where the Extra Room Actually Comes From

A music video that costs a label $50,000 to produce — and leaves the artist owning none of it — costs WYRD a fraction of that, because AI collapses the production overhead, not your cut. That's the trade: less waste in the budget. Not less money in your pocket.

The Primary Moat

Big Tech trains on the internet.
We train on intention.

In an age of infinite AI noise, the only remaining scarcity is verified reality. You can fork code. You cannot fork a physical handshake in Palma.

Big Tech's Data
  • Scraped from the open internet
  • Anonymous, unverified intent
  • Noise-contaminated training data
  • Replicable by any competitor with a crawl budget
WYRD's Data
  • Captured at the physical source — inside our rooms
  • Timestamped, identity-verified intent
  • High-fidelity, professional human-AI collaboration
  • Unscrapable. Unrepeatable. Permanently owned.
